We're excited to announce our new partnership with the Dairy Herd Improvement Association (DHIA) to conduct monthly tests and quality checks on our milking does. We had our first visit from the DHIA and were pretty surprised (and impressed) with some of the results.
Lavender is one of our youngest milking does on the ranch and just entered into her first year of milking in 2020. She's part of our "spice girls" lineage in the herd and is one of our sweetest does.
After a brief, yet very productive, flurry of activity that lasted from February 23 through April 12, we have made it through our birthing season!

Almond was one of the three OGs (Original Goats) that Jack Rudolph purchased when he first moved to the ranch and decided to get a few pet goats.
Some of our staff call him “Smooth” and some call him “Criminal,” but if our does could speak they would most likely just call him “Stud”! And that is exactly what he is - the Stepladder Stud and father to the majority of the 2021 kids born on the ranch!
