Our Sponsor a Goat program provides a meaningful way for you to directly support our herd, helping to offset the costs of caring for over 50 goats and other animals on the farm.
Why We Need Your Support
Caring for our beloved dairy goats is both time-consuming and expensive. As a Stepladder Goat Sponsor, youâll directly contribute to their well-being and help cover essential costs, including:
- Feed, hay, and grain
Just the cost of feeding each goat is about $3â$4 per day, which adds up quickly! And that doesnât include the labor involved in feeding, cleaning, and caring for the herd. - Veterinary care and wellness
Routine vet visits, emergency care, and hoof trimming all play a role in keeping our goats happy and healthy. - Herbal goat cookies
We make these natural remedy treats in-house to support long-term goat health, provide preventative care, and help during times of stress or illness. These have been a game-changer for our goats but are costly and time-intensive to make. - Bedding and barn maintenance
Fresh straw, shelter repairs, and keeping barns clean ensure our goats stay comfortable year-round. - Breeding and kidding support
Our does require extra care during pregnancy and kidding season, including special nutrition and around-the-clock monitoring.

Can I sponsor an individual goat?
In the past, our sponsorship program focused on individual goats. Now, when you become a Stepladder Goat Sponsor, youâre supporting the entire herd!
How do I access discounts for being a Grand Goatkeeper?
Discounts are only sent to active subscribers and are made available after purchasing the Grand Goatkeeper sponsorship.
Can I gift a sponsorship?
Yes! Once you purchase a sponsorship, email us at info@stepladdercreamery.com with the gift recipient's information. Each sponsorship includes one email recipient for updates.
Can I visit the farm as a sponsor?
Yes! Farm tours may be booked in advance and is subject to availability. Visit our Tours page for more information. If you're a Grand Goatkeeper, you get $25 off per person (up to 20 people) on our tours.
How do I renew my sponsorship?
Your sponsorship auto-renews annually at the level of sponsorship you initially signed up for. If you would like to change or cancel your sponsorship, please contact us.
How can I cancel or change my sponsorship?
If you wish to modify or cancel your sponsorship, simply contact us, and weâll be happy to assist you with the process.
