This season’s exclusive: Rocky Butte Reserve
A true expression of our farmstead craft, Rocky Butte Reserve is made from 100% goat’s milk and aged for over a year right here on the ranch. It’s a mild cheese with a luscious, creamy paste that breaks into dry, crumbly pieces speckled with delicate tyrosine crystals that melt on the tongue.
You’ll find aromas of caramel, freshly baked bread, hay, and shallot, with subtle notes of brown butter and broth in the background. The finish lingers like cultured butter that’s rich, round, and deeply satisfying.
It’s a natural match for full-bodied red wines, speck, and dried cherries, and we’re proud to share that it brought home Gold at this year’s California State Fair Cheese Competition.
