Fall is around the corner, but we’re still holding onto the golden flavors of a California summer. For our Fall Cheese Club box, we wanted to give our members a way to savor the brightness of the orchard long after the citrus harvest has ended. The result? A jar of farmstead marmalade, made with fruit grown right here on the ranch.
Crafted in collaboration with our friends at Small Batch Jam Co., this marmalade was designed to capture the sunshine of our orchards and pair perfectly with Cambria Heatwave, our seasonal exclusive cheese.
Made to savor
The citrus for this marmalade was picked just steps from our creamery, including fragrant oranges, sweet tangerines, and tart lemons. Harvested at peak flavor, the fruit was brought into Small Batch Jam Co.’s kitchen and transformed into something vibrant, glossy, and long-lasting — a way to preserve summer’s brightness for the cooler months ahead.
Unlike jam or jelly, marmalade celebrates citrus in its entirety (fruit, juice, and peel) giving it that signature sweet-tart character with just a hint of gentle bitterness.
Working with the team at Small Batch Jam Co. was a natural fit. Just like us, they believe the best food starts with exceptional ingredients and hands-on care. Every jar they make is cooked in tiny batches, allowing the fruit to speak for itself. It’s the same philosophy we bring to our cheeses!
